01

Start with the vehicle and routine

Charging needs depend on the vehicle, daily driving, available charging time, and the equipment the homeowner plans to use. The fastest possible setting is not automatically the most practical choice for every home.

02

Verify the electrical path

The electrician should review service capacity, panel space, circuit routing, parking location, equipment requirements, and installation access. Those conditions determine whether the initial idea is straightforward or needs a different plan.

03

Confirm approvals and handoff

Before installation, clarify equipment supply, mounting, permitting, inspection, utility coordination when applicable, and who will configure the charger. The completed handoff should explain normal operation and where to find manufacturer support information.
