Match light to the work
Open offices, private rooms, reception areas, conference spaces, and circulation paths do not all need the same lighting approach. Planning should consider visibility, screen use, occupant comfort, and the way each area is occupied.
Use controls intentionally
Zoning, scheduling, occupancy controls, and daylight-responsive strategies can reduce unnecessary operation when they are compatible with the fixtures and the space. Controls should remain understandable for occupants and facility staff.
Plan for service after installation
Fixture availability, driver access, ceiling height, switching arrangements, and replacement consistency affect long-term maintenance. A strong proposal identifies those operational details along with the lighting layout.
